Friday Favorites!

This has been a sleepy week with our recent travels and events. I am looking forward to time off to relax and catch my breath. This week has really dragged on but the Thanksgiving holiday in the near future helps everything along!

Once again thank you Andrea, Narci, and Erika for hosting!

First up would be a recap of the two weddings we attended this past weekend! Both weddings were so filled with love and so much fun. The first was the wedding of one of my sister's best childhood friends and was held on her parents' ranch. It was BEAUTIFUL. The second wedding we attended was up north in Ontario and held in a renovated old church- also SO gorgeous. The brides looked stunning, I cried at both (I can't control myself at weddings) and fun was had by all! The hubs and I both realized we might be getting a little old for the 2:30 am partying lifestyle though! #oops #nokidsyet

Secondly, I need help with car suggestions! We are on the search for a new car:) We are looking for an SUV this go around because soon we hope to fill it with sweet little bundle(s) of joy. Any suggestions would be so helpful!

Next up, my sweet in-laws are back in town for the wintertime and I made the below receipe for their first dinner in town. #wearesolucky It was delicious!!

                                                               Mississippi Pot Roast

4. After realizing my first of choice earrings would not be arriving in time for our out of town wedding I quickly ran into Francesca's after getting my hair done (conveniently located right next door) and found these beautiful (but heavy!) replacement earrings. They looked awesome with my dress and bracelet! #crisisaverted

5. My last favorite for the week would have to be my genuine excitement that the holiday season is upon us. Not only is Thanksgiving less than a week away but I am officially allowed to purchase a Christmas tree and fully decorate our home in one week. #hubsrule #allofthefeelings #falala #iheartchristmas I am so excited for the parties, dressing up, the family and friends, the gift giving, the shopping, and the smell of pine!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for reading!

Friday Favorites!

YAY for Friday! I am so excited for the next few days that I cannot even stand it. We are off to visit family in Canada and join in on some wedding festivities! In fact, we have one wedding today and then we are flying (#eekkk #terrified) out tomorrow morning for another one. I am really looking forward to spending time with all of my in-laws and dancing the night away. Plus, I get to dress up and get to see my husband in a suit. #myfavoritepasstime

As always, thank you for hosting Andrea, Erika, and Narci.

To start off my favorite's list, I would have to say a big bonus this week was having my meals delivered by "Hello Fresh"- FO FREE. A colleague of mine provided me with a coupon for a trial run of this service. I have to admit, the entire concept is really cool. It is a huge plus to have everything portioned out and ready in your fridge. Unfortunately, for us, it wouldn't be worth the weekly fee and I genuinely like cooking and meal planning, especially when the hubs and I do it together. Another side note, the portions are on the smaller side and leave little to no leftovers. All that being said, I would not turn down another crack at it, especially on those nights that you just can't get it together. #happensalot

Next up, would be my recent Old Navy purchases! I love the leggings I got on sale and the second they arrived I threw them on and wore them to my Supper Club. They are very comfy and look super cute. I am also really looking forward to wearing this V-neck sweater (in Lichen It) in the chillier temps this weekend:)

With the weddings this weekend a girl has to accessorize. SO of course, I turned to my new go-to online store, Accessory Concierge for some bling to class up my new dress (from Francesca's). The bummer is that I do not think I timed the order correctly...and I will be cutting it super close for the earrings to arrive before we depart for the airport. #bigboo # sayalittleprayerforme

Lastly, I wanted to share a fun recent outing we did for a friend's birthday, The Great Escape Room.  It was WAY more fun than I had expected. They lock you in a room, as a group, and let you loose on the clues that are stashed all around to solve the puzzle to be able to escape. All of this is happening while a clock ticks down from an hour...and suspense music is playing. Something this experience taught me about myself is that I am intense and very serious under pressure. We were VERY close to solving it...but we ran out of time and were not able to escape on our own. This did not bode well for the competitive spirits in our group, but none the less, fun was had and a memory was made:) #nexttime

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a great weekend! I hate the flying part of visits so I will take this opportunity to ask each of you to say a little prayer that we arrive and make it home safe and sound!

Friday Favorites!

November is here! How did that happen?!?!? Wasn't it just July 4th?? As time is flying by so quickly I cannot help but get very excited for what 2017 will have in store for our lives. This week was filled with a lot of thoughts like that which made it a happy one! As always, I am excited for the weekend and enjoy some time off with my loves.

Thank you for the link up Andrea, Narci and Erika!

First up this week I have to give a shout out to my recent discovery of Grey Monroe. I feel like this was a secret that was kept from me #iwanttoblamethehubs. The store is SO CUTE and affordable #myfavoritecombo

How cute is my recent purchase??!! I cannot wait to dress this up and down. #LOVE

Gotta love a Fold Over Leopard Clutch!

Second, and third, favorites for this week would have to be my continuing love affair with Accessory Concierge. This company has the FASTEST delivery and are constantly having sales that leave you adding just one more thing into your cart!

love this bracelet!

#obsessedwiththisthang

Next up is having to share this awesome gift idea for any ladies in your life (or a just a #HappyDay treat for yourself). This deal is too good to pass up! #theholidaysarecoming

But be sure to check out the other cute combos!

Finally, I have to give a shout out to Mix and Match Mama because I made her Pumpkin Spice Latte Bundt Cake this weekend and it was the bomb. I cannot wait to bring it for Thanksgiving dinner and have even more people fall in love with it! I wish I had a photo of the cake I recently took to a party but..... on the way there the cake slipped off the stand and fell all over my purse and the car seat. It was not my finest (or most mature) moment when I may have shed tear over this. However, I was informed, the lack of presentation did not affect the quality of the taste! YAY! It was a win and will be re-bake for me!

Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a beautiful and relaxing weekend!

Friday Favorites!

This week was a sleepy one. I was recovering from a little jet lag, getting over being sick and waking up through the night to a sick doggy. Needless to say, I am very happy to have a nice weekend with the hubs, catching up on some sleep and enjoying some fall activities!

Thank you for letting me link up Andrea, Erika and Narci.

To start out my favorites from this week I wanted to recap my recent business trip to Seattle. What a fantastic city! This Florida girl fell in love with the cooler fall climate immediately! When I flew out of Tampa I was pretty sick and had zero speaking voice. Fun fact, airports are loud places and tough to navigate with no voice. Bonus, I got some sympathy points from the airline person who checked me in and I didn't have to pay for my luggage to be checked! #smallwinsmakemehappy

I worked most of the time I was in Seattle but was able to squeeze in some exploring and great food. The weather was incredible the day I did the majority of my sightseeing which made me fall (#punintended) even more in love with this place!

Nothin' but blue sky! :)

This was the best coconut cream pie I have ever had, in my life. I went back a second time for this bad boy. It was from one of Tom Douglas' restaurants called, The Palace Kitchen

I spent hours wandering around Pike Place Market. I walked and walked and then walked some more. I came home with some goodies and couldn't resist the views and food choices! I waited in line for a half an hour to grab the below Smoked Salmon Pate pastry. #WORTHIT

I was told I couldn't miss out on this famous joint and it did not disappoint.

#beautyallaround

I came, I saw, I chickened out and couldn't get on the Great Wheel. #wimp
Speaking of Seattle temps, my second (and third) favorites for this week would have to be the best coat and scarf for sightseeing! SUCH a great fall jacket/scarf combo and perfect for cooler Florida temps (when, and IF, they ever arrive). They were comfy and light weight...I could throw them in my bag and ball them up without worrying about any wrinkles. #amazing.

(a similar one...mine seems to be out of stock)

Next up for the week was a gift I received while I was away on my trip. Funny story, my husband (who was home) would not believe me that I didn't make a purchase and kept teasing me that I just forgot I had ordered something:) I guess I have a reputation #oops! However, our recent visitors were so sweet and sent a hostess gift as a thank you and WE love the addition to our kitchen! I am ALWAYS looking for a place to put my iPad when I am reading off a recipe and this could not be more perfect! Thank you so much again, Meghan! xo

Lastly, my genuine happiness based on the release of the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life official trailer made my heart go pitter-patter. I am beyond excited for the November 25th premiere and to officially kick off the holiday season! Is it too early to be this excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas?!? I blame this election...I yearn for happier times! #illgowiththat

I hope y'all have such a great weekend! We have fun plans to carve some pumpkins with friends and I am so excited for it:) #weforcefallinflorida

Thank you so much for reading!

Friday Favorites!

I was a little under the weather this week which made it drag slightly. But I am on the up and up so this weekend should be a good one! Last night was our Supper Club and the theme was pumpkin! Just delicious. Two of my attending besties are the cutest pregnant women and they are not helping with the #babyfever! I had to sneak in a picture :)

#ilovetheirbumps

Thanks for hosting this awesome linkup, Andrea, Narci and Erika.

Up first this week would be this AWESOME Pumpkin Hummus Recipe I recently made for our monthly Supper Club and served it with Trader Joe's pumpkin chips. I stuffed myself silly on this delicious app. These specific chips really compliment the flavor and spice of this hummus and
-bonus- on their own they are scrumptious.

 #yum #givemeallthepumpkin

Speaking of pumpkins and Fall things, I am SO happy that Anthropologie is having a nice Fall sale of 30% off tops when using coupon code YAY. I have been lusting after the below fall tunic and finally took the plunge with this sale! #thanksgivinghereicome

Next up to bat for this week, would have to be signing my hubby up for Stitch Fix Men! I cannot wait to see what outfits they pick out for him that will inevitably make him look even more handsome :) It was so much fun filling out a profile for him and he (dare I say) is a little excited for the arrival of his first fix. More to come on this as soon as it arrives in early November!

In our process of "makin' (me) a mama", this week I downloaded an app called "Shine", by The Bump, that assists in tracking your monthly data, recording details and sending alerts etc. I wanted to reach out to y'all and see if there was any other suggested apps or websites that would be useful and informative in regards to TTC.

Lastly, I had to throw in my review of The Girl on the Train! I really enjoyed the twists and the acting behind it all. The ending was a touch graphic for me...but I am a little weak stomached with things like that :/. Emily Blunt was really great in it and played the part of a person with some demons very well. Also a plus, from what I have been told, it followed closely to the book which is a hard feat! One thing for sure is that it was a fun girl's night out!

Have a great weekend and thank you so for reading!

Friday Favorites!

Happy Friday!! I am very excited we made it to this day! I am looking forward to my weekend plans and my weekend treat- some PSL!

*Update, due to the weather here in FLA I have another hurricane day and am not working on this rainy/windy Friday*

As always, thank you for hosting us, Erika, Narci and Andrea!

This week the winner of my favorites would have to be my recent love affair with XHIT Daily! These YouTube videos offer an awesome variety of high intensity exercises that target every area (i.e. arms, abs, legs etc). There is so much variety and it has been keepin' me very sore...a good feeling because that means it's working!!

Next up are some movie reviews!

We saw two this weekend, a movie on Saturday and then another on Sunday! Gettin' 'em in while we can:) #kidless

The first movie was Snowden. Joseph Gordon-Levitt rocked this role. It was an eye opening film and made me even more interested in what the outcome of this situation will bring in 5, 10, 25 years. It was worth the watch and definitely heightened my awareness of how much we truly are monitored through our electronics.

The next flick we caught was a Sunday matinee, Deepwater Horizon. I cried a few times during this film #shocking (and was mocked by the hubs). Remembering the effects this disaster had locally here and watching the detailed story behind it all was tough.

Mad love for #markymark

Another incredible find this week is this adorable dress (in Olive) that will be a great Fall piece! I cannot wait until it is delivered!

Finally, I am so excited to see Garth Brooks in concert this weekend with one of my best friends! Hoping Hurricane Matthew does not mess with our plans!!

Thank you so much for reading and have a great weekend!
